Founded in 1990, Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County (Habitat Bucks) is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International that is a nonprofit housing organization founded on Christian principles. It is part of a global movement working in more than 90 countries to ensure that every person has a decent, affordable place to live. Habitat Bucks is dedicated to expanding access to safe, affordable homeownership and preserving housing stability for families across Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

With a strategic plan coming to an end in 2027, Habitat Bucks is seeking a visionary leader to work with a dedicated Board of Directors and staff to chart the organization’s next three to five years. Using Habitat Bucks’ existing strategic plan as a starting point, this position offers exciting opportunities to further the organization’s mission.
This position requires a passion for the Habitat for Humanity mission, a mature approach to managing agency operations, the ability to influence others, and strong business acumen. The CEO must be a hands-on leader who understands the importance of culture and is able to inspire team members and optimize available resources. Ideally, the CEO will have experience managing a similar sized organization; however, it is more relevant to understand the nonprofit culture, board and management dynamics, and funding sources and to nurture ties to the local community.
The expected salary range for this position is between $170,000 - $200,000 and will be commensurate with experience. The comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance; retirement plan 401(k) with employer match; PTO (vacation and sick); life and disability insurance.
