The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides executive leadership and oversight of Oak Grove Technologies’ (OGT) financial strategy, ensuring fiscal integrity, operational efficiency, and compliance in support of the company’s mission and government contracting operations. This role is responsible for directing all financial functions—including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and audit management—while aligning financial planning with corporate objectives and regulatory standards.
As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO partners closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Growth Officer (CGO), and other senior leaders to drive strategic decision-making, optimize financial performance, and position OGT for sustainable growth. The CFO serves as a trusted advisor, overseeing contract pricing, financial compliance, and risk management to ensure the company’s continued success in a competitive, federally regulated environment.
Requirements:Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of OGT’s financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Oversee cost accounting and contract financials, ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with OGT’s business goals and growth objectives.
- Manage cash flow, revenue forecasting, and capital planning to support current operations and future expansion.
- Partner with program and operations leaders to ensure accurate pricing, budgeting, and cost tracking for all government contracts.
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and corporate reporting standards.
- Oversee payroll, benefits accounting, and financial interfaces with HR and Recruiting systems.
- Monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to guide executive decision-making.
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on mergers, acquisitions, and long-term financial planning.
- Manage banking relationships, insurance programs, and investment strategies to support organizational stability.
- Ensure timely preparation of all financial statements and compliance with GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Implement and maintain financial systems, tools, and controls to support scalability and data-driven management.
Qualifications
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (required).
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- CPA, CMA, or CGFM certification strongly preferred.
Experience
- 10+ years of progressive financial management experience, including at least 5 years in a senior or executive leadership role.
- Proven success managing financial operations within a government contracting or defense organization.
- Deep understanding of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and DCAA audit requirements.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, or similar government accounting systems highly desirable.
