The Opportunity
Revere Health, one of the nation’s leading independent multi-specialty physician groups, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will be a key strategic partner, responsible for the overall financial health and stewardship of the organization. This role requires a leader with deep expertise in the healthcare ecosystem, capable of providing critical financial insight to guide the company’s strategy, growth, and long-term success. Reporting to both the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
with a dotted line reporting matrix to the Chief Operating Officer/Development Officer (COO/CDO) the CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of value-based care and reinforcing our commitment to patient-centered service.
Key Responsibilities
● Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all financial functions of the organization, including accounting, finance, budgeting, and revenue cycle management.
● Lead comprehensive financial planning, analysis, and trending to support strategic decision-making, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.
● Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast performance, assess new business opportunities, and navigate the complexities of the healthcare landscape.
● Oversee the preparation and presentation of all financial reports, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
● Partner with the executive team to identify and execute on strategic initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, and other growth opportunities.
● Direct treasury and cash management functions, optimizing capital structure and ensuring the organization has the resources to fulfill its mission.
● Establish and maintain strong relationships with financial partners, auditors, and the broader healthcare community.
● Foster a culture of financial accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across the organization.
● Ensure the integrity of internal controls and financial systems to safeguard company assets.
● Provide mentorship and development to the finance and accounting teams, building a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
● A minimum of ten years of progressive financial leadership experience (preferably CFO role) within a large, independent multi-specialty physician practice setting is required.
● Demonstrated strategic insight into financial planning, analysis, and trending, with specific expertise in the healthcare ecosystem, including value-based care models, physician
compensation, and managed care contracting.
● Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
● Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is highly preferred.
● Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
● Proven ability to serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, CDO and executive leadership team.
● Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
● Strong leadership presence and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
