Christ Child House is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and mission-driven Clinical Therapist to join our dedicated team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a structured, trauma-informed residential setting supporting children who have not succeeded in traditional foster care environments.

As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a key role in transforming lives by developing and delivering individualized treatment plans for residents and their families. You'll work collaboratively with an experienced clinical team while promoting a culturally sensitive, strength-based approach to care.

What You'll Do...

• Maintain a small caseload to ensure individualized care.
• Assess resident and family functioning and develop measurable treatment goals.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using trauma-focused interventions.
• Support crisis counseling needs and facilitate aftercare planning.
• Attend and present at internal clinical reviews and external stakeholder meetings.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress notes.
• Participate in regular psychiatric reviews and interdisciplinary clinical meetings.
• Contribute to training, program development, and continuous quality improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field (required).
• Valid Michigan driver's license.
• Experience working with children in residential or therapeutic settings is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and time management skills.
• Cultural competence and a commitment to trauma-informed care.
• Candidates with experience in a Child Caring Institution are strongly encouraged to apply!
