North Idaho College is seeking a Clinical Placement Coordinator to support our highly rated Nursing and Health Professions programs. This vital role ensures students gain the hands-on experiences they need by coordinating all aspects of clinical placements, from establishing and maintaining affiliation agreements to managing placement logistics and student compliance. Serving as the primary liaison with clinical partners, the coordinator helps strengthen relationships with hospitals, clinics, and care facilities while keeping students on track with onboarding requirements and clinical readiness.

In this position, you will oversee contracts with healthcare partners, manage placement schedules through Clinical Placements Northwest (CPNW) and other systems, and facilitate orientations and compliance processes such as immunizations, CPR certification, and background checks. You will collaborate closely with program directors, faculty, and healthcare agencies to match students with quality clinical experiences, ensure facility requirements are met, and prepare communication materials for stakeholders. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage sensitive records securely are essential, as is maintaining FERPA and HIPAA standards.

The ideal candidate will bring excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Success in this role requires the ability to develop relationships with healthcare leaders and educators, present effectively to diverse audiences, and work collaboratively with students, faculty, and community partners. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent combination of education and administrative experience in healthcare, education, or clinical coordination.

Required License and/or Certifications:
Must have a valid driver's license.

North Idaho College does not have a vaccine requirement. However, many of our nursing and health professions, are subject to federal or local hospital vaccine requirements.

Starting pay range: $53,903 - $64,684

Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule: typical college hours are Mon-Thurs 7:30-5:00, Fri 7:30-2:30
