Paradigm is seeking a full-time, remote Clinical Resource Manager. The Clinical Resource Manager holds accountability for supporting the growth of clinical resources to provide case management through recruitment, development, and identifying necessary training needed for delivery of case management for all products of Paradigm.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate, in collaboration with Talent Acquisitions, Human Resources, and Clinical and Case Management Solutions Leadership, prioritization/escalation of all open clinical case management positions
- Identify necessary development plan for current and new clinical case management positions in order to ensure appropriate knowledge base for indicated Paradigm products
- Lead the interviewing process for all clinical case management positions in collaboration with Talent Acquisitions, Human Resources, and Clinical and Case Management Solutions Leadership providing a standardized summary following all interviews with clear recommendations to Clinical and Case Management solutions Leadership and Director of Workforce Development to facilitate the next steps of hiring process
- Lead the application and interviewing process with new network businesses, individual network manager candidates and others as requested for contracted network partners
- Define and document all development plans for Clinical and Case Management team members to be monitored and carried out by Network Development Specialist, Professional and Clinical Education team and Clinical and Case Management Solutions operations to ensure competency for all Paradigm products
- Provide handoff with Network Development Specialist, Professional and Clinical Education team and Clinical and Case Management Solutions operations to carry on defined development plans for all new and existing clinical case managers to facilitate learning clearly defined in the written learning plan and shared with clinical case manager and operations team leaders
- Act as a liaison between CRIU and Clinical and Case Management Solutions for referral placement and file transfers for all Risk products and assist in the facilitation of placement of all referrals and transfers
- Maintain line up rotations
- Assist in determining capacity limits and evaluate potential risk of limitations to current clinical case management team and coordinate with operations to ensure coverage of all geographical locations
- Communicate risks/needs and monitor for trigger points for additional resource needs in collaboration with operations
- Collaborate with operations to provide employed and network capacity planning with ongoing updates/monitoring to ensure adequate resources for all products in all locations
- Participates in the selection committee including presentation and summary of candidates and recommendations and development plan shared with committee
- Act as subject matter expert to develop and contribute to content development -NWM Role-development teams, bulletin committee, special assignments etc.
- Manage and execute retention strategies for Employed NWM’s and report findings on regular basis
- Support Case Management Solutions in retention efforts
- Lead and execute annual business partner touchpoints including escalation of concerns as appropriate and ongoing cultivation of working relationships
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health related field. Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) preferred with active, unrestricted licensure.
- Experience:
- Minimum 7 years experience in the management of catastrophic injury and chronic pain conditions, demonstrated knowledge of case management services provided for catastrophically injured individuals with CCM certification required.
- Prior experience as Network Manager strongly preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, standards of care for catastrophic diagnoses, case management, public and private resources required.
- Prior experience with recruiting, candidate selection and training preferred. Prior experience with mentoring, skill development, and teaching the adult learner.
- Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to simplify complex material for training and utilize negotiation/conflict resolution skills to resolve issues.
- Computer Literacy: Intermediate computer skills including working knowledge of the Internet, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel and other tools/programs utilized for distance learning and webinar presentations.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to learn new processes quickly. Ability to analyze workflow and make recommendations for changing processes (e.g., simplifying) as appropriate.
- Legal: Awareness of jurisdictional regulations impacting patient care management, confidentiality and return to work. Follows standards of practice for case management for ethical and legal issues
