- Serve as the team's operational cloud systems expert, ensure seamless application accessibility, monitor system health, and drive the swift resolution of mission-critical issues.
- Implement automated monitoring, logging, and real-time System Status Dashboards to track the health, performance, and 99.9% availability of cloud resources.
- Ensure end-to-end production service operational availability of at least 99.9% through optimized resource performance, proactive monitoring, and robust system enhancements.
- Monitor application health and interfaces continuously to maintain the continuity of critical mission operations.
- Provide Application Tier 2 and 3 Help Desk/Service Desk Support for end-users and security analysts.
- Take ownership of escalated support cases, conducting initial triage, in-depth root cause analysis, and troubleshooting complex workflow and data issues.
- Resolve cybersecurity vulnerabilities and ensure all cloud configurations strictly comply with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and the DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture.
- Support releases and deployments across DoD Impact Level 5 (IL5), Impact Level 6 (IL6), and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) environments.
- Validate system functionality and collaborate closely with DevSecOps software engineers to implement timely and effective bug fixes.
- Work closely with multiple teams of Developers, Engineers, Administrators, and the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to coordinate defect resolution and optimize systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Certification (DoD 8570/8140): IAT Level II or better Certification Required (e.g., Security+ CE).
- Relevant Cloud Certification (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional).
- 5+ years of DoD System Administration and Engineering experience, preferably in a mixed environment of both Windows and Linux-based systems.
- 3-5+ years of combined experience in Tier 2/3 technical application support, cloud systems engineering, or DoD system administration.
- Demonstrated proficiency providing Systems Engineering and Administration support within Government Cloud environments (e.g., AWS GovCloud, C2S, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and supporting software CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud-based virtualization (e.g., VMWare, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Demonstrated proficiency with issue tracking software and Agile backlog management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence).
- Deep understanding of DoD policies, directives, and initiatives as they relate to custom application development, including the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), DISA STIGs, and Section 508 Compliance.
- Strong coordination, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills with a creative problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Must possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

- The salary range of this position is $150,000 - $160,000 commensurate with experience and achievement.
