Additionally, through the collection and analysis of stories, the communication assistant will contribute to future research focused on understanding the daily experiences of women leaders. Furthermore, the Communication Assistant will be a key influencer in the development of the Women’s Leadership Diaries through decision-making, contributing feedback, facilitating growth opportunities, and providing leadership to other McNulty Institute student communication assistants.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing nominations and communicating with subjects to collect and write their stories for additions to the platform
- Curating content to be thematic and in line with the mission of the McNulty Institute
- Producing, editing, and posting blogs, podcasts, and videos through multimedia platforms
- Promoting WLD stories through social media platforms
- Taking initiative and bringing forth new and creative ideas to support the growth of the Women’s Leadership Diaries
The position will also support the McNulty Institute’s social media and marketing efforts. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Researching and generating fact sheets pertaining to women’s advancement and gender equity
- Designing templates to use for social media
- Supporting cross-campus partnerships through marketing initiatives
- General website updates
