Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 9AM-1PM | 20 hours per week, Part-Time Employment

Summary
As a Community Custodial Worker, you play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and guests. In this position, you will complete janitorial, groundskeeping, and light maintenance tasks, supporting common area upkeep, apartment turns, and overall community appearance. Your work directly contributes to creating a positive first impression and preserving the quality of the property. This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $16–$18, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, and opportunities to earn additional bonuses.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming community by supporting general property upkeep and cleanliness across interior and exterior spaces.
• Perform routine housekeeping in common areas and apartment homes (e.g., floors, surfaces, restrooms, kitchens, windows, and shared amenities) in alignment with community standards.
• Clean and care for shared spaces as scheduled, including but not limited to offices, clubrooms, community areas, model homes, mailrooms, stairwells, storage areas, parking garages, and elevators.
• Support daily touch-up cleaning along tour paths and in show apartment homes to ensure a positive experience for prospective residents.
• Assist with apartment turn cleanings to prepare homes for new residents.
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment by maintaining inventory, reordering as needed, and using products safely and responsibly.
• Follow established safety guidelines, including OSHA standards and company policies, and promptly communicate any safety concerns.
• Support seasonal and exterior upkeep as needed, such as snow removal, salting, light landscaping, and maintaining entryways and walkways.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks and preventative maintenance efforts, with opportunities to learn and grow skills in these areas.
• Use work order systems to manage assigned tasks and ensure timely completion.
• Provide friendly, respectful service to residents and team members, contributing to a positive community environment.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and community operations.

Education & Experience

• Preferred: Background in custodial or housekeeping is preferred.
