POSITION TITLE: Compensation Analyst

LOCATION: This role is Hybrid with 2 days remote and 3 days at our Houston office located at 4424 W. Sam Houston Pkwy North, Suite 420, Houston, TX.

PAY RANGE: $60,000

FLSA: Exempt

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Lexitas is seeking a detail-oriented and data-savvy Compensation Analyst to join our growing Human Resources team. As a key contributor, you’ll drive the development and delivery of equitable and competitive compensation strategies that attract and retain top talent. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluate internal pay equity and ensure compensation practices align with business strategy
  • Conduct and interpret market compensation surveys and analysis
  • Design, implement, and manage compensation programs and policies
  • Support job evaluation and job analysis processes
  • Make data-backed recommendations on promotions, pay adjustments, and structure changes
  • Prepare and present compensation data reports for leadership
  • Partner with HR leadership on budget planning and forecasting for compensation

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Strong analytical and research skills with a detail-oriented mindset
  • Experience in compensation program design and market benchmarking
  • Knowledge of HR compliance, especially FLSA and federal/state labor laws
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort with data visualization tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Data Analytics, HR, or Business-related field
  • Demonstrated analytical skills in job history.
  • Maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations, including the FLSA
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Organizational skills

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role is not a supervisor position.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • CCP certification preferred
