Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Three years of experience working in compliance, accessibility coordination, or financial operations in higher education.
Knowledge of ADA, Section 504, FERPA, and other relevant regulations.
Evidence of excellent communication, computer and customer service skills. Must be able to communicate sensitive and/or complex information in a confidential and straightforward manner.
Must possess a high level of accuracy, self-motivation, and strong attention to detail.
Must have the ability to handle a heavy workload and multi-task.
Familiarity with academic environment, policies and procedures, knowledge of Banner preferred.
General Duties:
Monitor and ensure institutional compliance with ADA, Section 504, and other accessibility-related regulations.
Serve as the Disability Services Contact and Accessibility Chair for the institution.
Collaborate with academic and student services departments to implement inclusive practices and accessible learning environments.
Conduct regular audits of facilities, digital platforms, and instructional materials for accessibility.
Provide training and resources to faculty and staff on accessibility standards and accommodations.
Manage student billing, payment plans, and collections in accordance with institutional policies.
Reconcile accounts receivable records and prepare financial reports.
Coordinate with financial aid to ensure accurate student account data.
Assist in developing and enforcing procedures for overdue accounts and debt recovery.
Assist Title VI and Title IX coordinator with compliance.
Manage compliance documentation, including contracts, agreements, and required reports.
Maintain documentation and prepare reports for compliance, audits, and regulatory agencies.
Other duties assigned by the President and Vice Presidents.
