ABOUT YOU

As a client-facing engagement leader, you will leverage your expertise to help craft high-impact solutions to address our clients’ most complex workforce and business challenges. You will make meaningful contributions as an individual contributor and lead Lotis Blue project teams to ensure seamless execution and quality delivery. Your contributions will cut across one or more concurrent engagements, working directly with clients to build important relationships, collaborate with team members at all levels, provide insights, and create deliverables that help us achieve client business goals.

Successful candidates will have experience working at a progressive, fast-paced management consulting firm. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with hands-on solution development, creating deliverables, presenting to clients, managing projects to completion, and providing direction to less experienced team members.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage up to three client engagements in Business Strategy Execution, Operating Model Design, Workforce Configuration and Talent Management.
  • Guide the development and execution of analytical work plans to prove or refute hypotheses that support and drive to the strategic goals of each client engagement.
  • Lead and facilitate the ideation, diagnosis, and design of high-impact solutions, leveraging your business acumen and critical thinking applied to different industries.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of work across several large-scale engagements, balancing competing priorities and resource needs while ensuring high quality deliverables for clients.
  • Develop general consulting and technical competencies in more junior resources to help build firm capability and capacity.
  • Build high impact data visualizations and executive-level narratives to create compelling storylines that build understanding and align stakeholders around recommendations.
  • Lead interactions with senior client stakeholders, present recommendations, facilitate workshops, and engage directly with executive teams to build credibility and partnerships.
  • Actively participate in business development, including shaping new opportunities with current and existing clients.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Required
  • 5+ years of post-graduate consulting experience in strategy execution, operating model design, or workforce design and development.
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering, economics, science, data analytics or other domains that provide a good grounding in logical and critical thinking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to craft a compelling narrative tailored to meet the needs of different audiences.
  • Capable of modeling complex business scenarios in Excel to explore different potential solutions and their implications on business goals.
  • Experience serving and presenting to Executive level clients and teams directly.
  • Skilled in ideating and performing hypothesis-driven analysis and visualization using BI solutions (e.g., Power BI or Tableau).
  • Highly effective problem solver and critical thinker.
  • Comfortable with ambiguous and complex challenges and willing to do what it takes to bring meaningful impact to our clients and the organizations we serve.
  • Experience coaching and leading a team, providing constructive feedback, and working through others to generate high-impact deliverables.
  • Enjoys working in fluid and ambiguous business environments that are complex where the client solution often unfolds in an unpredictable and nonlinear fashion.

Preferred

  • Experience working with and integrating disparate datasets to develop unique insights that help solve tough challenges for clients
  • Loves debating complex topics with smart people in a very collaborate and productive fashion that never loses sight of how we can bring value to the client and company
  • Experience coding in VBA, Python, SQL or other languages

Reflected below is the base salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to academic achievements, skills and experience. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

  • $158,000.00 - $237,000.00 annually + bonus opportunity

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Hybrid, but willing to join a thriving Chicago Loop office culture at least 3 days per week. Must also be willing to travel up to 10 days per month.
