POSITION SUMMARY
The Inside Sales Coordinator serves as a vital link between the sales team, clients, and internal departments to ensure seamless sales operations and exceptional customer service. This role involves managing sales inquiries, coordinating with customers, and supporting the sales team to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE
Sales Support
- Handle inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms, providing accurate product and service information.
- Prepare and send quotations, proposals, and sales agreements.
- Coordinate with the sales team to qualify leads and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Track sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients.
- Maintain and update customer records in CRM systems.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide after-sales support.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
Coordination and Reporting
- Collaborate with logistics, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, including pipeline activity, sales trends, and customer feedback.
- Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts and budgets.
Administrative Tasks
- Schedule and organize meetings, presentations, and training sessions for the sales team.
- Ensure all sales documentation and files are up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
- Support marketing campaigns by coordinating leads and tracking campaign performance.
- Flexibility to perform other job duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
Education:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related field preferred; however, a combination of education and experience wherein the skills and abilities to perform the responsibilities and functions have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable.
Desired Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales, sales coordination, or customer service.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Pipe Drive, Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Sales-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs effectively.
