Pay Range
$68,800.00-$94,600.00 AnnualThis is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.
The Corporate Risk Analyst reports to the Risk and Insurance Manager and is primarily responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the Company’s Risk Management team. You will work closely with the team members as it relates to insurance procurement and compliance, claims, and physical security. Responsibilities include evaluating, interpreting, and making decisions independently. This position is also intended to develop into additional responsibility within the team. It is based out of the Johns Manville global headquarters in Denver, Colorado, with a flexible work arrangement with both in-office and remote work days.
Your Day to Day:
- Oversee property, casualty and other insurance applications and audits for multinational operations; tasks include complex data retrieval from a variety of internal sources, spreadsheet consolidation and comparison, quality review, and application submission
- Review insurance compliance with contractual requirements, both internal and external; this includes a comparison of certificates of insurance and contract language
- Coordinate periodic analysis and reporting of risk data for internal stakeholders, including data related to physical security initiatives and insurance claims
- Manage financial transactions within the department, including purchase order creation and invoice payments within established parameters
- Support the Risk Management team with ad-hoc projects and additional Risk Management tasks
- Up to 10% travel may be required
- May be required to perform other related duties as assigned
What You Bring to The Team:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of experience in commercial insurance including underwriting, claims, brokerage, regulatory, property loss control or similar
- Knowledge of corporate risk management principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to evaluate, interpret and make decisions independently and in a team environment
- Ability to interface and influence effectively across all levels of the organization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex facts with clarity and in a way that can be understood by non-risk management professionals
- Desire to obtain a professional designation such as ARM (Associate in Risk Management)
Preferred:
- Experience working in a corporate headquarters setting
- Multinational experience
- Exposure to SAP software
