About the Role

The Community Solution Marketing Department is seeking an organized and detail-oriented CRM & Product Database Intern will work along side the Product Marketing Manager to assist in the foundational development of a centralized Product & Program Database. This database will serve as the single source of truth for all marketing-related product and program data, supporting compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across the organization.

This role is perfect for students or recent graduates interested in marketing operations, data management, CRM systems, or higher education administration.

Key Responsibilities

Data Compilation & Organization

Collect, review, and categorize college and university program data across multiple institutions.

•Research and consolidate missing program details (e.g., accreditation, costs, learning outcomes, admissions requirements).

•Standardize data entry formats for consistency and accuracy.

•Assist in developing naming conventions, categorization methods, and tagging structures to improve data retrieval.

Database Development & Management

Assist in building the initial database in Excel/Airtable with clearly defined fields and relationships.

•Organize data fields based on categories like institution, program name, modality, cost, licensure requirements, and competitive differentiators.

•Support the creation of version control and update tracking mechanisms.

•Implement a review and validation process to ensure data accuracy.

Future CRM Transition Support

Collaborate with the Product Marketing Team and Salesforce administrators to map data fields for CRM integration (Salesforce Education Cloud).

•Assist in testing data import processes for eventual migration.

•Document best practices for database management, user training, and compliance tracking.

Marketing & Compliance Support

Work closely with Admissions, Enrollment, and Compliance teams to gather and verify program-related information.

•Support compliance efforts by ensuring all marketing-relevant program attributes are up-to-date and accurate.

•Assist in developing internal documentation and training materials to guide future users on database use.

•Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or willingness to learn.

•Ability to analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and reporting.

•Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Preferred (but not required)

Experience with data entry, CRM systems, or marketing analytics.
