Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of this position include: sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with repetitive motions (such as typing); occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 25lbs; and regular traveling/walking through the facilities.
Shift
Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm (with some flexibility). May also include some evenings, weekends and holidays per departmental needs.
Job Summary
The Customer Relations Specialist will provide prompt, sensitive and professional responses to patients and families regarding their complaint or grievance. This position will also collaborate and serve as a liaison between patients, families, and/or surrogates and UK HealthCare staff and departments; will research and document obstacles to the delivery of service to proactively work on developing solutions; and adhere to UK Healthcare Behavioral at all times.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service; superior communications abilities with an emphasis on patient care, diplomacy, and sensitivity; and a strong background in utilizing Microsoft systems including Windows, Word, and Excel.

Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related field with 3 years of experience preferred.
