Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data & Analytics Intern to join our Information Technology team. You will gain hands-on experience supporting key business functions: accounting, finance, human resources, sales, and marketing. You’ll learn to collect, clean, analyze, and visualize data to drive business decisions, while developing modern analytics skills in a collaborative, mentorship-focused environment.



Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple business systems and sources
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Build dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines for business analytics
  • Prepare presentations and insights for stakeholders across business units
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout all analysis
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to support cross-functional projects
  • Participate in regular check-ins, mentorship sessions, and project reviews as part of the LEAD program


Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency in Excel and basic knowledge of SQL
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
    • Basic understanding of Python or R for data analysis is desirable
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • Interest in applying analytics to business functions (accounting, finance, HR, sales, marketing)
    • Eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a diverse team

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience or coursework in data modeling (e.g., relational, dimensional, or semantic models)
    • Exposure to machine learning concepts or tools
    • Interest or experience in artificial intelligence (AI) applications for business analytics
    • Ability to apply predictive analytics or build simple models to solve business problems

    Duration & Schedule

    • Internship period: Summer - June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026 (10-12 weeks, Flexible)
    • Expected hours per week: 36 hours
    • Hourly pay range $26.00 - $31.00.
