SciTec has an immediate opportunity for a talented Delivery Flow Lead to support our programs delivering Next-Generation Missile Warning software. This is a unique opportunity to join a small business delivering core capabilities for National defense. You will work within a fast-paced team delivering end-to-end software processing of Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) sensor data for Missile Warning, Missile Defense, Battlespace Awareness, and Technical Intelligence.

In this role, the Delivery Flow Lead will optimize the end-to-end process of delivering software products for mission-critical applications. This person orchestrates the flow of work from development through testing, deployment, and operational support, ensuring that software meets strict performance, quality, and security standards. Candidates will provide engineering leadership to development teams including subcontractors and will be responsible for ensuring team work products meet program requirements. SciTec seeks a candidate who will thrive in a collaborative environment where they can solve challenging engineering problems in support of critical national security objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Release Integrity: Oversee and safeguard the integrity of all software releases for FORGE programs, from development through deployment, ensuring compliance with program and customer requirements.
  • Chart Delivery Vision: Define and implement the strategy, tools, and processes that enable the effective delivery of applications and updates to customer sites, with a focus on scalability, repeatability, and security.
  • Provide Technical Oversight: Lead and guide cross-functional technical teams—including DevSecOps, Test Infrastructure/Automation, and Cyber Security—to ensure alignment with program objectives, industry best practices, and government standards.
  • Partner with program leadership and engineering teams to align delivery processes with mission needs and evolving requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the software delivery pipeline, leveraging automation, containerization, and cloud-native practices.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and accreditation requirements for mission applications.
  • Serve as a thought leader and mentor within the program, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience leading software release management, DevSecOps practices, or mission-critical software delivery.
  • Strong background in software integration, test infrastructure, and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence program delivery.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Secret Security clearance

Candidates who have one or more of the following skills will be preferred

  • Experience with government/DoD software programs, particularly FORGE or space-related mission systems.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, cloud-native environments, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity accreditation processes (e.g., RMF, STIGs).
  • Proven ability to chart technical vision and drive large-scale process adoption.
  • Active TS/SCI Security clearance

The pay range for this position is $148,000 - $172,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. This is not a guarantee of compensation.
