Dental Receptionists play a vital role in our organization by serving as the frontline connection between patients and their oral healthcare. As the first point of contact, you help set the tone for a welcoming, respectful, and patient‑centered dental experience. Position Highlights:
$19.91-$24.38/hour DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates
What You’ll Do:
Greet and assist patients, answer phones, route calls, and respond to inquiries in person and via electronic systems
Register new patients, update demographics, and maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Schedule, cancel, and adjust dental appointments in accordance with clinic guidelines
Verify insurance eligibility, collect required documentation, and assist patients with insurance‑related questions
Perform front‑office billing activities, including collecting payments, posting charges, and daily cash reconciliation
Support patient care by managing referrals, recalls, treatment plan estimates, and upfront fee collection
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
One year's experience in a clinic, optometry or dental office preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred at a level 9
Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment with frequent interruptions
Basic proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service
Basic knowledge of medical or dental terminology
