Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking applicants for a Deposit Support Representative to join the Deposit Operations Team. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented and possess superior time management skills. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays on a rotating basis. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Answer internal and external Deposit Support phone calls.
- Respond to internal and external Deposit Support emails.
- Perform Individual Retirement Account and Health Savings Account duties:
- Assist with IRA and HSA duties as needed.
- Assist with beneficiary IRAs.
- Assist with IRA and HSA pending files.
- Assist with reviewing IRA and HSA transactions for compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of IRS rules and regulations in relation to IRAs and HSAs.
- Perform the following duties of the certificate program:
- Assist with purchasing and redeeming certificates.
- Assist with certificate penalties.
- Process mail transactions for new certificate funding.
- Have a working knowledge of Coverdell Education Savings Accounts.
- Distribute and process mail and interoffice documents from branches.
- Assist with US Savings Bond questions and situations that may arise.
- Participate in and assist with questions on the Signature Guarantee program.
- Maintain knowledge of the Deposit Support department.
- Work Saturday rotation, as needed.
