Position Summary:

Will troubleshoot, install, and maintain computer hardware and software systems. Will work with IT Help Desk to provide 2nd Level support on computer hardware or software issues. Responsible for organizing and maintaining computer and printer stockrooms. Will also be responsible for administration of certain systems (RSA, Active Directory, PrinterLogic). Great customer service skills are a must for both phone and face to face customer interactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Configure, install and troubleshoot computer and printer hardware.
  • Respond to, assess and remediate computer or software support issues. Install a wide range of applications on various desktop operating systems.
  • Set up computer hardware and IT equipment.
  • Monitor printer status and replace printer consumables or parts as needed.
  • Implement software/patch deployments on clients.
  • troubleshoot remote access issues (RSA, Citrix, VPN).
  • Able to support a variety of AV technologies and give direct support for internal and external parties.
  • Support ticketing system: Answer phone support calls, logging calls into the support ticketing system. Monitor assigned queues ensuring quick response to end user issues.
  • End user training in the use of certain applications and technology use.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • HS Diploma/GED required.
  • Associate Degree or Certification in Computer Science preferred.
  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in computer operations.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and a willingness to learn new applications.
  • Knowledge of PC hardware and Windows operating systems.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (2010, 2013 and 2016).
  • Good basic understanding of networking technologies (TCPIP, DHCP, DNS).
  • Familiar with using a support ticketing system.
  • Personal vehicle desired for visiting our various sites.

Pay:

  • Hourly Rate: $28.75 up to $43.00 based on experience.
