Job Summary
The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (UKVDL) develops and applies state-of-the-art diagnostic methodology to improve animal health and marketability, to protect the public health and to assist in the preservation of the human-animal bond through the principles of One Health. This position in the Molecular Section of the UKVDL is responsible for processing specimens; running diagnostic assays; evaluating results; keeping proper records and reporting results; database management; bioinformatics; and assisting in the training of other employees as needed.
This position is located at the Coldstream Research Campus off Newtown Pike (great location and free parking). As a part of the University of Kentucky , we also offer exceptional benefits.
