The Department

Fidelity Digital Asset Management [FDAM] is building an investment platform offering digital asset products and services designed to meet the growing needs of Fidelity’s retail customers and intermediary and institutional clients. These efforts will enable FDAM to launch new investment products and services in the digital asset ecosystem that offer our clients access to new crypto asset classes and an expanded universe of alternative assets. In addition, FDAM’s new capabilities to offer digital asset investment products will bring a range of new investor segments to Fidelity.

The Role

Looking for a best-in-class opportunity to obtain hands-on experience with investment research, portfolio construction and implementation? The Digital Assets Associate internship program gives interns the chance to obtain and develop the core research skills needed to jumpstart a successful and lucrative career in investment management. This individual will work in a small team of researchers, quants, and traders to create content related to our product roadmap including multi asset strategies and yield generation.

Education and Experience

  • Class of 2027 or 2028 Bachelor’s or Master's degree candidates in a quantitative discipline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive, seeks additional responsibilities and learning opportunities
  • Proven success during his/her academic career with a preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Demonstrated expertise using Excel and Python
  • Highly motivated independent problem solvers, ability to think outside of the box and bring a unique perspective
  • High levels of integrity
  • Demonstrated initiative and intellectual interest in studies/extracurricular activities related to the financial markets
  • Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints

Training

  • Emphasis on hands-on training from researchers and traders directly related to intern projects
  • Mentorship from senior research analysts and associates
  • Exposure to Portfolio Managers and investment thought leaders

Conversion

  • Successful interns may receive an offer at the end of the summer internship to return as a full-time Research Associate post-graduation.

Internship Dates

June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026

The base salary range for this position is $30 - $42 per hour.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
