The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 10lbs; regularly sitting at a computer workstations for extended periods of time with repetitive motions (such as typing); and intermittent (10%-50% of the time) job-related travel.

Job Summary

The Director leads UK HealthCare’s government reimbursement and supplemental payment programs, overseeing filings, financial modeling, cost reports, and compliance with state and federal requirements. Serving as the enterprise liaison to internal and external stakeholders, the Director provides clear reimbursement and policy insights to executive leadership while managing two direct reports to ensure performance, accountability, and professional growth. This hybrid position also drives audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and cross-departmental collaboration to support UKHC’s financial and operational goals.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Able to compile and manage vast data sets into workable product(s), creating clear and concise products often utilizing Excel, Access, Tableau, etc.Extensive Managed Care Contracting experience to include preparation and negotiation.Epic Payer Contract modeling requirements.Net revenue projections.Thorough understanding of the healthcare industry, trends, issues, risks, etc.

Preferred Education/Experience

Nine years leading Medicare/Medicaid/Tricare cost reporting teams in an Academic Medical Center; leading Managed Care contracting teams; proficient with Epic contract modeling systems; knowledge and experience spanning finance, accounting and reimbursement in an integrated healthcare environment, preferably an Academic Medical Center.
