Overview

The SVP, Director of Cash Management and Payment Services leads the transformation and ongoing growth of the Bank's cash management function. The role is responsible for elevating the client experience, streamlining and strengthening internal processes, and building a more efficient, deposit- and fee-generating operation aligned with the Bank's culture. This leader will build on the existing foundation, while redesigning how cash management is delivered —partnering closely across the organization to ensure a cohesive and well-executed approach.



Responsibilities

  • Department Modernization
  • Lead a full redesign of the Cash Management department to enhance service, responsiveness, and overall efficiency.
  • Streamline workflows and processes to reduce manual tasks, increase productivity, and remove friction for clients.
  • Define clear roles and responsibilities, establish performance expectations, and drive accountability across the team.
  • Client Experience
  • Elevate the end-to-end client experience, from sales and onboarding through ongoing support.
  • Partner with relationship managers on key client and prospect meetings.
  • Serve as escalation point for complex or high-impact client issues.
  • Strategy & Revenue Growth
  • Increase treasury penetration across commercial and business banking clients.
  • Improve coordination between lenders and cash management staff.
  • Drive sustainable deposit and fee income growth while maintaining strong client retention, and ensuring department achieves annual sales goals.
  • Product & Solution Oversight
  • Strengthen and refine the Bank’s cash management offerings to ensure they are competitive, clearly positioned, and aligned with client needs.
  • Collaborate with IT and Digital Operations to enhance digital capabilities, improve system functionality, and deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Provides ongoing product training to maintain a high degree of product awareness and “product fluency” with the Commercial Banking staff.
  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing cash management team.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Conducts periodic performance reviews and provides for the ongoing guidance, training and direction to the team in developing and implementing plans and objectives.
  • Miscellaneous
  • Supports Bank’s regulatory compliance objectives and recommends changes to support prescribed requirements. Ensures full compliance with the Bank’s Information Security Policies and Procedures.
  • Represents the Bank through active participation in community and industry organizations and events and promotes the business interests of the Bank. Refers sales opportunities to other departments or Bank affiliates in support of established objectives.
  • Performs other duties as may be required.


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Advanced degree or CTP

Work Experience

  • 7+ years in Treasury/Cash Management or Payment Services, with senior leadership experience. is
  • Strong knowledge of treasury products, digital banking, and payment systems. is
  • Skilled at collaborating across departments to influence and impact change. is
  • Hands-on leader with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams. is
