ICRST First Line Fin Crimes team is looking for Technology leader for our Value Co-Creation (VCC) team. VCC is our new way of working that brings designated Business, Product, and Technology leaders together throughout the product development lifecycle to identify dependencies, make decisions, and capture them in centralized artifacts.This enables rapid generation of customer and business outcomes. As the Technology leader, you would build value streams with engineers from multiple technology domains and deliver enterprise top initiatives at fast pace. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to translate business objectives into an execution strategy while resolving and tracking risks, dependencies, and impediments to value stream deliverables. Ideal candidate should be able to come up with innovative solutions, have a pragmatic approach to application architecture, and be excited to work on a varied tech stack. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of the functional platforms across technology domains that VCC initiatives requires, and lead engineers in the creation of software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product, Business and Engineering partners to establish, prioritize and build roadmaps for VCC initiatives.
  • Work with a team of highly talented engineers to rapidly build value streams that deliver Enterprise top programs.
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of partners within business and technology teams to inspire change required to execute product roadmaps.
  • Perform rapid POCs as needed to experiment and set direction for the engineering value streams.
  • Think out of the box and bring an external perspective, desire to learn new technologies, ability to enable business capabilities through innovation and increase efficiency in crafting and delivering new capabilities with our global colleagues.
  • Provides technical mentorship to Software Engineers at various levels. Leads, mentors, and coaches Senior Software Engineers and teams, fostering a culture of excellence and setting high standards and expectations for the team.
  • Mentor and nurture talent and promote a culture of togetherness, partnership, and continuous team improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics.
  • Responsible for the people management of a co-located and remote engineering teams.
  • Partner with customers and other internal teams and technical product managers to deliver features.
  • Apply any specialized knowledge of industry standards or practices to team initiatives, helping to identify complex and/or broad problems and formulate recommendations.
  • Influence up/down/across and promote modern software engineering principles!
  • Collaborate with enterprise technology teams to motivate change required and support the team in technical issue resolution.
  • Recruit and hire outstanding and diverse talent from the industry.
  • Engage in 1-on-1 conversations with team members for mentorship and career development planning.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive expertise in a technical domain, and advanced expertise across multiple technical and business domains
  • Recent hands-on coding experience in the web and/or SOR technology stack - React, Java, Node JS, Vert.x or Kotlin.
  • Recent experience leading a team globally or currently a tech lead for a team.
  • Great at working with a team to build solutions and courageous in pushing for a better way to deliver software that solves customer/business problems.
  • Experience building high performance, high availability and scalability solutions based on current industry standards.
  • Proven experience hiring, retaining, and leading high-caliber engineering talent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to cater to a diverse audience: executive collaborator, partner, engineering.
  • Experience leading and building software engineering teams designing and building efficient software products in a fast-paced, sophisticated, and dynamic software development environment.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum or other rapid application development methodologies is required.
  • Commitment to drive a culture of accountability and ownership to empower teams and motivate change.
  • Experience leading individual contributors and providing career direction, coaching, and building development plans.
  • Experience working in a distributed team model and collaborating with remote team members.
  • BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other engineering disciplines.

Salary Range: $144,250.00 to $256,250.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
