Job Summary

The Human Development Institute (HDI) at the University of Kentucky is seeking to fill a Disability Program Specialist II position. This position will work as a Technical Assistance QA on the 1915i Recovery Independence Support Engagement (RISE) initiative.

This position will:
  • Provide on-site technical assistance to 1915i RISE initiative providers to improve the quality of services offered to participating individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned providers.
  • Assist with certification reviews and utilization/billing reviews when needed.
  • Monitor Plan of Correction implementation.
  • Conduct follow-up for complaints and complete investigations as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively within a team structure.
  • Complete required documentation.


Work related travel is a requirement of this position.
