JobSummary:

The Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Intern will gainfirsthand knowledge by performing routine tasks using well defined standardsand procedures under close supervision.

JobDuties and Responsibilities:

• Duties includeassisting Professional Engineers in the:

• Preparation andreview of calculations

• Preparation andreview of equipment and instrument data sheets

• Preparation andreview of equipment, cables, tray and control systems specifications

• Preparation andreview of test and commissioning procedures

• Review and checkingof drawings and packages

• Utilizing Intools,ETAP and/or other software for preparation of design, bid and constructionpackages
  • Work under the supervision of an experienced Electrical and/or Instrumentation Engineer
  • Gain exposure to a variety of electrical, instrumentation and control system challenges in the design of Oil and Gas facilities.
  • Gain exposure to a variety of software packages used in the everyday operations of an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering department


Qualifications(Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

• Authorization to work in the United Stateswithout sponsorship now or in the future;

• HS Diploma or the Equivalent required;

• Enrollment in a four (4) year baccalaureateprogram for Electrical Engineering program at an accredited college oruniversity in the United States;

• Accepting graduation dates between December 2026and May 2027;

• Candidate must provide a resume as well as thecollege or university transcripts (official or unofficial).

WorkingConditions:

• Work is primarilyconducted in an office environment (Private or Semi-Private Office) but alsorequires occasional travel to off-site work locations;

• Field dutiesrequire indoor and outdoor work in a plant or industrial setting, aroundproduction machinery with extreme noise levels;

• Interaction withother team members, as well as supervisors and client personnel;

• Must be able towear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personalprotection;

• May be at more thanone job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes.

Physical Requirements (With orwithout Reasonable Accommodation):

• Must be able to lift and carry five (5) pounds;

• Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing orother communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation,which permits employee to communicate effectively;

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of timewith or without reasonable accommodation;

• Sufficient vision or other powers ofobservation, with or without reasonable accommodations, which permits employeeto conduct analysis and investigations;

• Sufficient manual dexterity with or withoutreasonable accommodation, which permit the employee to perform routine officeduties;

• Sufficient personal mobility and physicalreflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations to perform office dutiesand travel when necessary to off-site locations.
