The COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion MultiPurpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manages integrated schedules for element and or flight (facility) projects
Interfaces with flow management, project managers, engineering, shop, area integrators and other planners and schedulers, to update the daily schedules and respond to changes and issues
Participates in daily telecoms and/or scheduling meetings, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities which pertain to operations support
Identifies basics/potential scheduling delays, facilitates remedial action, evaluates performance, and prepares progress reports
Appropriately resource loads work activities
Performs work control management, as needed
Demonstrates advanced Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project and Microsoft Suite knowledge or Substitution of other scheduling softwares for Primavera P6/Microsoft Project excepted (e.g. Solumina, Maximo and Milestone Professional)
Qualifications
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; 15 years related experience.

Physical requirements are: sitting, walking, standing, use of stairs, and may access remote structures.
All work must be completed in a safe manner in accordance with NASA and company safety standards.
Attendance
Full-time work hours. Position may require occasional overtime, including weekend work, depending on task.
Must be able to accurately communicate ideas in writing and verbal communication.
Government security clearance may be required in the future.
Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters good relations with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
