Job Summary
The Engineer Associate II/Research employee should have broad knowledge of engineering/scientific principles and practices. Should be able to apply accepted methods of research and Interact with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and others. The applicant must be able to contribute to intellectual development activities within KTC and be able to complete all assigned projects. The applicant will be required to work within KTC and KYTC data systems. The employee in is expected to assist with proposal development and provide professional services and obtain funding for research projects.

Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Good written and verbal communication skills. Works well in a team setting but also thrives working independently. Pays close attention to detail. Employs strong analytical and organization skills. Excels even when working under time constraints. Robust interpersonal skills and customer service oriented. Is an innovative thinker and problem solver. Effectively provides guidance and direction to other team members. Driver’s License.
