Job Summary

The Research Engineer position involves a multi-disciplinary mission-oriented approach with a topical focus in transportation system resilience. The position independently applies advanced scientific knowledge to lead complex research projects and develop innovative techniques, processes, and research methodologies. The role manages major or multi-faceted projects, overseeing scope, budget, schedule, research execution, and staff supervision. The position prepares proposals to secure research funding and represents the organization with clients and professional stakeholders.
