The Enterprise Architecture Lead is a pivotal role responsible for shaping and guiding the technology vision, strategy, and roadmap for Cooper’s Hawk. This individual plays an instrumental part in ensuring that technology investments and initiatives drive value, efficiency, and innovation across the enterprise. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), this role collaborates closely with business unit leaders, IT managers, solution architects, and external partners. The Enterprise Architecture Lead serves as a bridge between executive leadership, IT teams, and business units, translating strategic goals into practical, actionable architectural solutions. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, leadership, and strong communication skills. What You’ll Do:
  • Establish, update, and champion the organization’s enterprise architecture framework, ensuring alignment with business goals and evolving industry standards.
  • Lead the development of short-term and long-term IT architecture strategies that support business growth, agility, and digital transformation.
  • Act as a liaison between business leaders, technology teams, and external partners to ensure shared understanding and alignment of enterprise architecture objectives.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies, recommending investments that promote innovation, improve efficiency, and mitigate risk.
  • Develop policies, standards, and best practices for architectural governance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Oversee the design and integration of complex IT solutions, ensuring they fit within the established architectural framework and support interoperability, scalability, and security.
  • Identify architectural risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the stability, security, and resilience of enterprise systems.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of architectural strategies and solutions, using data to drive continuous improvement.
What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in information technology, with at least 5 years in an enterprise or solution architecture role.
  • Proven experience leading architecture initiatives in medium size, complex organizations.
  • Certifications such as TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), enterprise systems, and integration technologies.
  • Experience with digital transformation, modernization, and technology adoption projects.
  • Strong knowledge of IT security principles and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop other architects and technical staff.
  • Stakeholder satisfaction and improved collaboration across business units
  • Resilient, adaptable, and capable of navigating complex, dynamic environments
Compensation Range: Compensation range is $170,000-185,000/year. The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. What You’ll Get:
