The Materials Management Team (MM) is seeking to add an Enterprise Developer Advanced to support the functional/technical support sector of the university enterprise supply chain. Candidates should have a fundamental understanding of and some experience in SQL, JavaScript, ABAP, Python, or C++.

Job responsibilities include:

  • working with the supply chain Team and members of the purchasing procurement automation sector of the purchasing department offices to collect and analyze business requirements and translating this information into technical requirements for development within the MM Team as well as back-office, procurement and inventory support offices
  • designing and developing technical solutions in the university’s enterprise software- SAP
  • providing technical support for the interface systems, applications, and processes for the institution

This position will work closely with senior developers and analysts to become familiar with and knowledgeable of specific programming associated with the MM integrations for supply demand to support procurement of materials and the follow-on goods movements of those materials. and corresponding integrated software processes..

Flexible Work Arrangement: This role offers the flexibility to work either full-time on the University of Kentucky campus, in a hybrid model (splitting time between home and the UK campus office), or fully remote with meetings on campus as needed.
