Full Time

The Enterprise Support Claims Coordinator will provide accident and incident responses for the enterprise when company personnel and/or assets are involved. The role is also responsible for ensuring hazmat and security shipments are dispatched and transported in compliance with both internal company policies and governmental requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform claim intake for incidents/accidents involving Enterprise Personnel and Assets (includes proper documentation of claims and supporting documents within internal systems)
  • Adhere to Enterprise Accident Response Policies and Procedures (including Workers Compensation)
  • Ensure Department of Transportation Post Accident Drug and Alcohol Screening (DOT/BAT) is completed in accordance with Federal DOT and Company Requirements
  • Complete Security Briefings for High Value Shipments and ensure proper monitoring and tracking during transit
  • Provide support functions associated with the dispatching of Hazardous Material Shipments including verbal briefings, proper shipment paperwork, and any permits required for transit by government agencies
  • Maintain strong partnership and communication with other departments (operations, safety, driver support, warehouse) via email and phone
  • Assist with on-going personnel training and training of new team members
  • Be involved in highly sensitive and complex incidents/accidents that require high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Work overtime when needed to support the team and Enterprise

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability and desire to work in multi-task fast paced environment
  • Detail oriented and self-motivated (can work alone if required)
  • ⁠Ability to work with complex, sensitive, and stressful incidents.
  • Understanding and/or knowledge of government regulations applicable to the transportation industry
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal/written)
  • Ability to work with situations requiring confidentiality
  • Flexibility to work different shift schedules when needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Experience working in a high-volume call center preferred
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Spanish preferred
  • Experience working with Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) preferred

The posted range reflects the full pay band for the position. The expected pay range below represents where most candidates are hired, based on experience, skills, and internal equity. Candidates with more extensive or highly relevant experience may be considered toward the higher end of the overall pay band.

  • Expected Pay Range: $19.23-$21.75
  • Full Pay Range: $19.23-$29.87
  • Pay Grade: 6
