Essential Functions These are the job duties required of the position.Essential Functions- Serves as a key contributor to the daily operations of the Health, Kinesiology, and Sport (HKS) building by supporting academic, instructional, and facility-related processes.
- Helps ensure the effective functioning of the building through equipment oversight, supply and logistics coordination, classroom support, and general operational assistance for faculty, staff, and student.
- Supports the day-to-day operational needs of the HKS building including monitoring, maintaining, and coordinating the use, repair, and replacement of instructional media, copier, and other departmental equipment.
- Maintains inventory of activity program equipment, materials, and supplies and assists with ordering, stocking, distribution, and organization as needed to support academic and administrative functions of the department.
- Provides logistical support for academic and activity classes, meetings, and special events, including room and equipment setup, supply coordination, and readiness of instructional spaces.
- Assists faculty and staff with operational needs related to teaching, learning, and program delivery.
- Helps ensure that classrooms, storage areas, and shared-use spaces are organized, functional, and appropriately supplied.
- Assists with building access, safety, security awareness, and general facility support.
- Conducts a weekly visual inspection of the building/facilities for maintenance and safety needs, relaying reports to the maintenance department for service.
- Regular and prompt attendance.
- Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
- Related duties as required.
