ERP Systems Analyst / Developer

Poughkeepsie, NY

Pay:$80,000-$100,000/year (dependent on experience)

Bonus Potential: 10%

Key qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Information Systems or equivalent work experience required
• Minimum 3 years of business system analysis, business system support, and programming experience required
• Strong experience with ERP systems, business system analysis, and user support
• Proficiency with SQL and relational database platforms
• Experience developing in COBOL or similar procedural programming languages
• Experience with: N-Tier development using: CSS, HTML, PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, C#, SQL, JSON, MS Power platform (Power BI, PowerApps, Dataverse)
• Working knowledge of IBM i programming languages (COBOL, CL, RPG) and databases (IBM DB2, Microsoft SQL Server) preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication (written and verbal), and task management skills
• Ability to adapt to evolving systems, technologies, and business needs
  
  

Responsibilities

Functional support of enterprise applications

• Perform analysis of enterprise applications
• Maintain system data integrity by performing and documenting I.T. procedures
• Assist users with functional questions and issues
• Assess, test, and implement application updates, fixes, and enhancements
  
  

The fulfillment of corporate information needs

• Provide timely custom reports that fill previously unaddressed business needs
• Produce I.T. solutions to deliver optimal business results
• Update and maintain application program customizations and configuration
• Follow departmental standards and accepted I.T. industry practices to ensure quality work
  
  

Highly stable and available ERP business systems applications

• Monitor and resolve operational problems in a timely manner
• Configure and monitor automated application processes
• Maintain appropriate ERP documentation to support effective disaster recovery procedures and participate in DR testing

The achievement of corporate goals through ERP related projects

• Coordinate with internal department and 3rd party implementation teams
• Provide technical expertise to advise and assist in projects
• Assist with testing and implementation
  
  

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:

• Standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods of time
• Hand coordination for typing, writing, and computer use
