Become a part of the team behind the team.

As employees of the Portland Trail Blazers at the Rose Quarter, we do more than basketball. We are blazing trails toward winning championships on and off the court.

We are pioneers and innovators. We look for people who push boundaries, who dream, who are committed to inclusivity – who want to contribute to Rip City!

We’re bringing our parking operations in-house for the first time — and that means we’re building a brand-new team from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting transition and help shape how parking runs at our venue. Whether you're leading a crew, welcoming guests, or keeping things moving outside, you’ll play a key role in creating a smooth, safe, and positive experience for everyone who visits.

As our Event ParkingLead Supervisor, you will support the Parking team by leading and coordinating supervisors and other staff to ensure efficient staffing, equipment deployment, and traffic flow during events. The Parking Lead Supervisor will oversee daily operations, provide training and guidance, and ensure all procedures and safety standards are followed.

IMPORTANT DATES: Interviews for this position are expected to take place during the week of July 21, 2025. If you are selected to move on to the interview stage, further details will be provided via email.

  • Train and guide supervisors and team members on their responsibilities and proper equipment usage
  • Coordinate supervisor team efforts, managing break coverage, timelines, and deployment of equipment

  • Assign and manage active work orders, making real-time adjustments based on team capabilities
  • Make labor decisions during the shift, including early dismissals or redeploying staff as needed
  • Ensure all team members accurately use the timekeeping system
  • Enforce safety protocols and department policies at all times
  • Oversee equipment setup and confirm signage and materials are in place for ingress and egress periods
  • Lead pre- and post-shift briefings for Supervisors, Leads, and event staff
  • Facilitate emergency procedures when necessary
  • Submit a nightly evaluation summarizing key issues, wins, and observations
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of the venue, equipment, the surrounding campus, and parking areas to support both guests and staff
