Join North Idaho College's dynamic Conference and Events team and play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our campus and community. The Event Services Assistant Coordinator supports the planning and execution of a wide variety of events, ensuring that every detail is managed with care and professionalism.
In this role, you'll assist with event planning by verifying contracts, assessing space needs, and preparing cost estimates. You'll be a primary scheduling contact, entering event details into scheduling software, preparing layouts, and providing clear guidance to event staff. As the on-site liaison, you'll coordinate with clients, provide technology support, and ensure smooth set-up, tear-down, and crowd management. You'll also help communicate campus activities to internal departments, collaborate across service departments to make events successful, and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
We're seeking someone with excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and the flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with technology and scheduling software, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a positive, team-oriented attitude will set you up for success.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma and two years of full-time equivalent related experience, including customer service required. Valid Driver's License is required.
Starting pay range: $17.11 - $19.68

Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule: Typical college schedule is Mon-Thurs 7:30-5:00, Fri 7:30-2:30. Some weekend and evening availability may be required.
