Job Summary

The Executive Director, Facilities Higher Education & Enterprise Systems serves as the University’s primary leader for partner-delivered campus maintenance, custodial and grounds related services across the UK enterprise. The position is responsible for ensuring partner accountability for maintenance performance, service quality, asset stewardship, operational reliability, and customer responsiveness while representing the University’s interests through established governance processes.

In addition, the role provides enterprise leadership for facilities technology strategy, including governance and optimization of the University’s Integrated Work Management System (AssetWorks IWMS) and other technologies that support maintenance operations, asset management, space management, planning, performance measurement, and operational decision-making. Working closely with Facilities Management, Information Technology Services, IRADS, enterprise partners, and university leadership, the position advances data-informed decision-making through KPI development, enterprise dashboards, performance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment between maintenance operations, enterprise technology capabilities, and institutional objectives.

Fundamental Principles of Financial Management; Demonstrated ability to advance strategic financial forecasts, with related tools and metrics, for a multi-departmental facilities, capital project management group, and healthcare organization which also provides utilities and energy management to an educational enterprise.
