This position is responsible for performing various business and administrative duties for assigned SLT Member. Maintains a close and highly responsive relationship with the day-to-day work activities within assigned functions. Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for executive leadership, managing correspondence, communications, and inquiries with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Manage complex calendar scheduling, meeting coordination, and travel logistics, proactively prioritizing commitments to optimize executive time and effectiveness.
  • Develop executive-level presentations, reports, and visual materials, including charts, tables, and briefing documents to support strategic initiatives.
  • Support internal communications by recommending content, format, and distribution methods to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Coordinate on-site and off-site meetings and events, including vendor engagement, contract negotiation support, and budget-conscious execution.
  • Monitor and assist with budget tracking, variance review, and administrative expense management in partnership with Finance.
  • Maintain and organize documentation, team sites, policy materials, and distribution lists to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and version control.
  • Provide project coordination support for recurring and special initiatives, including meeting preparation, action tracking, research, and follow-up execution.

Skills:

  • Intermediate professional or theoretical knowledge and fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of a particular field of specialization in the execution of assigned duties and responsibilities
  • Basic understanding of budgetary concepts and procedures
  • Intermediate understanding of departmental structure and policies with an elementary understanding of the cross- functional structure and policies of Whataburger Restaurants LLC
  • Basic ability to delegate tasks and get work done through others

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • 0-6 months experience preferably in the restaurant industry
