Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 25lbs; regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with repetitive motions (such as typing); work with individuals from various backgrounds; and provide superior customer service.



Shift

The shift for this position is Monday through Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm) (40 hrs/wk)



Job Summary

The Executive Assistant provides proficient administrative and operational support to leaders within the Office of the EVPHA, to include: Health Disparities, Strategic Workforce Recruitment, and Strategy & Government Affairs. This position applies working knowledge of administrative practices, university systems, and department operations to perform a combination of routine and varied assignments. Work requires accuracy, professionalism, and the ability to prioritize within established guidelines. The Executive Assistant operates with moderate supervision and contributes to the successful completion of departmental and organizational objectives.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

· Strong organizational and time management skills to coordinate schedules, meetings, and administrative activities effectively.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing correspondence, reports, and documentation.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

· A customer-service mindset, providing responsive and courteous support to team members and departments.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with administrative systems such as Concur, SAP, or related platforms.

· The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.

· Adaptability and flexibility in managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

· A collaborative and dependable work style that contributes positively to team success.

Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience supporting senior leaders in healthcare, higher education, or government relations. Able to adapt and embrace new systems, tools, and processes.
