We help organizations define and implement effective executive compensation programs that align with market benchmarks, organizational strategies and regulatory requirements. Our expertise includes governance support for boards and committees, performance evaluations for executives and design of competitive total compensation . We also advise on executive benefits, pay-for-performance strategies, . Additionally, we provide insights on emerging trends, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and employment agreements to ensure a holistic and compliant approach to executive talent management.
As a Consulting Manager, you will manage day-to-day activities of multiple executive compensation consulting projects, contributing to all aspects of client engagements, establishing successful client relationships and providing responsive and high-quality client experiences. In addition, you will mentor and develop staff to build technical expertise, strengthen client delivery skills and prepare them for increasing levels of responsibility.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead multiple executive compensation projects from kickoff through final delivery.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, providing updates, answering questions and anticipating needs.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables ensuring work is completed accurately and on schedule.
- Review, refine and customize analyses, presentations, and written recommendations before they go to clients.
- Delegate work to associates, set clear expectations and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and draft proposals and statements of work.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development efforts.
- Improve internal tools, processes and workflows to enhance team efficiency and client experience.
- Collaborate regularly with Client Relationship Managers and cross-practice teams to ensure seamless delivery.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, ideally with an emphasis in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, accounting or health care administration
- 10+ years of related executive compensation analytical experience, involving data evaluation, financial modeling and presentation design with experience in compensation consulting
- Solid technical knowledge and experience working with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Role model problem-solving and critical thinking skills, including the ability to:
- Analyze and interpret data using basic and advanced modeling techniques
- Develop conclusions and considerations from complex analysesand adapt solutions to changing circumstances, as warranted
- Anticipate challenges, identify alternate solutions and address obstacles impeding project/team progress
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, writing, verbal and presentation skills are required, including the ability to:
- Foster an open and effective channel of communication with clients and across teams
- Provide constructive feedback and training that helps associates develop skills, experience, and growth opportunities
- Manage client delivery project teams
- Effectively present facts, analysis, and conclusions/solutions in a way that demonstrates command of content, factoring in perspectives and interests of the audience
- Write concise project communications, documents, and presentations with appropriate level of technical detail and complexity
- Excellent project management, organizational skills, and ability to manage and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and priority-changing environment
- Exhibit high levels of enthusiasm and passion for serving the clients and appreciate the mission-based work of our clients

Reflected below is the base salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to academic achievements, skills and experience. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
- $158,200.00 - $237,300.00 annually
