Shift

Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; and some occasional evening or weekend hours may be required as needed.



Job Summary

Position will direct and manage efforts to identify potential UK candidates (undergraduate, graduate, and alumni) for prestigious national and international scholarships and awards, and supervise a full-time Assistant Director position. Responsibilities include promotion and raising awareness of nationally competitive awards across campus through information sessions, events, print and web materials, social media, and presentations to classes and student groups; establishing ongoing collaborations with pertinent individuals (e.g., associate deans in colleges) and units (Gaines Center, Honors Program, Office of Undergraduate Research, etc.) to identify candidates; and establishing and managing faculty committees to interview and select viable candidates for specific awards (e.g., Rhodes, Marshall, and Truman Scholarships).

MS degree is required, while a PhD is preferred.
