Job Summary

Advise researchers in the best use of a broad set of state-of-the-art Cyberinfrastructure (CI) systems, tools, and software to enable research productivity. Partner with researchers to co-create and co-learn research activities and relevant advanced computing and data capabilities both locally and nationally.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
  • Knowledge and experience with a wide range of state-of-the-art cyber-infrastructure (CI) systems (e.g., HPC system, cloud systems, massive high performance storage systems) and well as CI services, tools, and software
  • Knowledge and experience with advanced automation/scripting, debugging, and performance profiling techniques for large-scale CI systems
  • Expertise in using user support systems (e.g., ticket systems, knowledge-bases, interactive chat systems, and web pages)
  • Well-versed in user management and user onboarding processes and procedures in advanced CI environments, including maintaining and enforcing data security and privacy policies
  • Experience collaborating and working with researchers and technology providers to develop advanced solutions
  • Advanced writing skills and experience developing documentation and training materials including online tutorials.
