Physical Requirements

While work is primarily performed in an office environment, work is also performed in the fi eld in non-office type conditions where position holder may be exposed to elements of weather and/or temperature extremes while traveling to/from and/or when reviewing a job site(s).



Shift

7:30am – 4:15pm (Monday – Friday)

Hours of work may vary dependent upon situational factors and crisis management
requiring night(s), weekend(s), and holiday(s) response.



Job Summary

Reporting to the Facilities Services & Sustainability Director, this position:

• Oversees all aspects of the day-to-day delivery of goods and services performed by Facilities Management’s Campus Trucking, Waste, Events Coordination teams, and all related contractors
• Maintains and manages all databases relating to trucking, waste, and events activities
• Receives order information from various sources, including:
  • work orders
  • emails
  • website
  • direct phone requests
• Oversees contracts and contractors related to areas of responsibility, including pest control, waste hauling, and local moving companies
• Monitors and forecasts delivery schedules and staffing needs
• Plans, schedules and dispatches truckers and contract services to assigned routes daily to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency
• Provides routing and handling instructions for specific products or services and training for common products
