Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for managing trucked feedstock delivery processes for an organic waste processing facility, including liaising with feedstock suppliers, scheduling deliveries and on-site management of trucks accessing the site, scale management and positioning for material offload. You will help manage feedstock supply, scheduling, forecasting, and/or customer service.

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Schedule feedstock deliveries daily, weekly and monthly with input from operations and feedstock suppliers
  • Manage scale operation, truck weigh in, weigh out, load ticket management and accounting
  • Manage trucker entry and logistics on site
  • Interface with operations team and feedstock suppliers to develop schedules
  • Support the client in development of feedstock accounts, attend site visits to assess feedstock logistics
  • Assist operations, and other team members when needed to meet schedule, make adjustments, etc.
  • Track delivery details, sources, ETAs
  • Communicate with carriers regarding schedule and deliveries
  • Work with managers and team members to implement new strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes.
  • Inform management of ongoing performance issues.
  • Manage a feedstock receiving software and hardware devices, including administration of users, training, updates to workflows, etc.


Qualifications

Education / Experience / Background
  • Associate degree in supply chain, transportation, logistics, business, or related field.
  • 1-3 years previous experience; experience in industry procedures, costs, and terms.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 25-30 Lbs.
