DescriptionThe Purpose of Your Role as a Financial Analyst I
The Financial Analyst I will help support the financial planning and analysis work that keeps the business moving forward. This position works closely with accounting, operations, and leadership teams to help build forecasts, analyze performance, and provide visibility into the numbers behind the business.
You’ll be involved in budgeting, reporting, project analysis, and acquisition support, helping teams understand what’s driving performance and where decisions are making an impact.
What You’ll Be Part Of
You will work across multiple parts of the business, supporting both day to day analysis and longer term planning efforts.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and monthly business reviews
- Analyze business and project performance, identify trends, and help communicate financial results to leadership
- Support dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools that improve visibility and decision making
- Help support mergers and acquisitions through analysis, due diligence, and post acquisition reporting
- Aid in ensuring the financial planning system, Workday Adaptive Planning, is updated and maintained in a timely manner to support the business
This position offers exposure to both financial and operational sides of the business, making it a strong opportunity for someone looking to build broad experience early in their career.
What We’re Looking For in You
- Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- An MBA or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts
- Typing, 10-key, and data entry skills
- Business intelligence analysis experience
What This Position Is (and Is Not)
This position is:
- Focused on financial analysis, planning, and business support
- A mix of detailed analysis and big picture thinking
- Closely connected to operations and leadership decision making
This position is not:
- A purely accounting focused role
- Limited to spreadsheet reporting only
- Isolated from the operational side of the business
Why This Role Stands Out
You’ll work with teams across the organization, gaining visibility into how decisions impact projects, operations, and overall company performance. As the business continues to grow and improve reporting tools, systems, and processes, this position will continue to grow with it
It offers exposure to both the financial and operational sides of the business, giving you the opportunity to build a strong foundation in planning, forecasting, analysis, and business performance.
If This Sounds Like You
If you enjoy problem solving, working with data, and helping teams make informed business decisions, this could be a strong fit. We’re looking for someone who is detail oriented, curious, and motivated to learn how the business operates beyond just the numbers.
