Physical Requirements

This position requires standing, walking, and sitting for long periods of time. Must be able to push, pull, and lift objects up to 50 lbs. Occasional (<10% of the time) job-related travel.

Shift

Primarily day shift Monday through Friday. As an exempt-level position, additional hours may be required as needed to perform job duties including weekends, holidays, and after hours.

Job Summary

The Financial/DSS & Reporting Director is responsible for development and review of financial & financial reports along with analysis for UK HealthCare. This role will utilize data from various sources daily across the integrated systems. Develops and manages all financial management reports, visualization and tools throughout the healthcare organization. Will regularly initiate contact with client groups and monitor UKHC and industry strategic plans, goals, objectives. Responsible for developing automation for financial reporting processes and dimension maintenance for all Decision Support Systems with EPIC and all other external billing systems. Manage the full integrated system of Strata Axiom reporting tools including overseeing upgrades, implementation changes, interface integration, and the internal integration of the various modules – current modules include Decision Support System (EDS), Costing, Management Reporting, Budgeting, Productivity, Comparative Analytics (Hospital and Physician), Rolling Forecast and LRP. Oversee the integration of external facilities within Beyond Blue as well as other clinical colleges through Axiom to SAP/Workday/EDW/UKG and SAP/Workday/EDW/UKG to Axiom. Contribute to continuous improvement of departments, UKHC, Blue Connect and the University. Responsible for ongoing scanning and environmental analysis of functions and implementing improvements. This position will create, develop, and implement workflow and process improvements for all financial reporting areas.

This is a fully remote position. There is an IEBC being considered.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Understanding of healthcare industry, trends, issues, risks, etc. Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in finance in an integrated healthcare environment. Advanced computer skills with strong knowledge of MS Office Suite. Ability to perform under changing circumstances and deadlines. Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with SAP, UKG, Strata Suite and EPIC a plus.

Preferred Education/Experience

Info Tech, Accounting, Finance. Strata Axiom and SQL certifications preferred.

Ten years of progressively responsible work experience in data, information technology and financial analysis and management is highly recommended. Management experience within the IT field and association within Finance environment preferred.
