Brand Lead, CV, IMM

Location: Guaynabo, P.R.

The Brand Lead acts as the CEO of CV/IMM portfolio, integrating across functions and customer segments to deliver brand objectives with an enterprise mindset. This role is pivotal in driving value for patients, the community, and the local team by ensuring strategic excellence, operational integrity, and cross-functional alignment. Success requires strong leadership, strategic agility, and a high degree of initiative and accountability.

Responsibilities

Strategic Ownership & Leadership

  • Own the holistic brand strategy and imperatives for CV/IMM portfolio across all stakeholders.
  • Lead a cross-functional team (Commercial, Access, Medical, and enabling functions) to establish compliant, shared brand objectives.
  • Partner with the US/ICON/LATAM organization to secure go-to-market resources, remove execution barriers, and maximize collaboration.
  • Define success metrics for HCP and patient segments and ensure alignment across the customer journey.

Omnichannel Strategy & Execution

  • Own the end-to-end HCP and patient journey, from omnichannel strategy to execution.
  • Integrate insights from advanced analytics and market research to tailor engagement strategies.
  • Leverage AI-driven insights and modular content creation to enhance customer experience and personalization.

Financial & Resource Management

  • Accountable for the fully loaded P&L, including budget ownership and resource allocation across the brand team.
  • Drive dynamic resource allocation and make business cases to adjust budgets in line with evolving brand objectives.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting through tools such as RPM and COMPASS.

Performance & Analytics

  • Provide input to BI&A teams to develop advanced analytics and use insights to refine brand strategy.
  • Lead the development and reporting of KPIs to identify brand opportunities and measure performance and refine brand strategy.
  • Manage and execute all marketing and sales-related brand activities to deliver target sales and margin.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Actively participate in calibration sessions and provide input for performance reviews of Medical, Access, and OCS teams.
  • Provide strategic leadership to matrix teams, supporting development and coaching aligned with business goals.
  • Guide sales teams to improve performance and achieve commercial targets.

External Engagement & Market Integration

  • Integrate Marketing Excellence efforts locally by leveraging global resources and aligning with regional strategy.
  • Partner with US, LATAM, ICON, and other markets to ensure investment, share best practices, and drive impact.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced degree preferred (MS, PhD, MBA).
  • Sales and Marketing experience with multiple assets preferred.
  • At least 5 years of pharmaceutical experience, ideally with commercial exposure.
  • 1+ years of people management experience preferred.
  • Proven success managing brands across lifecycle stages (launch, growth, maturity).
  • Experience launching new products or indications.
  • Strong leadership and commercial experience in Puerto Rico markets highly desired.
  • Effective communicator with ability to influence senior management decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate matrix organizations and flex across cultures and business complexities.
  • Understanding of regulatory policies and public relations impact.
  • Proven collaboration across boundaries and strong external relationship-building.
  • Skilled in change management and championing new ways of working.
  • Deep expertise in HCP, patient, and payer journeys.
  • Demonstrated success in P&L and budget management.
  • Fluency in analytical models and ability to translate BI&A insights into actionable strategies.
  • Familiarity with omnichannel strategy and modular content production.
  • Fully bilingual (English/Spanish); proficient in Microsoft Office and modern analytical/digital tools.

Compensation Overview:

Guaynabo - PR - US: $130,600 - $158,260


The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.

Paid Time Off

  • US Exempt Employees: flexible time off (unlimited, with manager approval, 11 paid national holidays (not applicable to employees in Phoenix, AZ, Puerto Rico or Rayzebio employees)
  • Phoenix, AZ, Puerto Rico and Rayzebio Exempt, Non-Exempt, Hourly Employees: 160 hours annual paid vacation for new hires with manager approval, 11 national holidays, and 3 optional holidays

Based on eligibility*, additional time off for employees may include unlimited paid sick time, up to 2 paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, and military needs and an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas and New Years Day.

All global employees full and part-time who are actively employed at and paid directly by BMS at the end of the calendar year are eligible to take advantage of the Global Shutdown.

*Eligibility Disclosure: The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office-based employees due to the unique nature of their work. Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers. Employees in remote-by-design or lab-based roles may be eligible for summer hours, depending on the nature of their work, and should discuss eligibility with their manager. Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program.
