TITLE: Front Desk Associate
POSITION STATUS: Part-Time
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
LOCATION: Indianapolis, IN
REPORTS TO: Club Operations Manager
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Sunday Early mornings (7 am open), mid-day shifts, and nights (closing 8 pm)

ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Front Desk Associate at the Midwest Tennis Center, you will be the first point of contact for members and guests. You’ll provide excellent customer service, manage bookings, process payments, and help create a welcoming atmosphere. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, friendly, and passionate about tennis and hospitality.
THE ROLE:
- Greet members and guests warmly and professionally
- Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries
- Schedule court reservations, lessons, and events using booking software
- Process membership applications, renewals, and payments
- Handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions for retail and concessions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
- Provide accurate information about club services, schedules, and policies
- Assist with member check-ins and monitor court usage
- Support tennis staff and management with administrative tasks
- Address member issues and escalate concerns when needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- High school diploma (required)
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (preferred)
- Proficient in computer systems (Google Suite, POS, and scheduling software) (preferred)
- Able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment (preferred)
- Interest or background in tennis or sports is a plus (preferred)
- CPR Certification and AED knowledgeable within the first 30 days of hire. (required)
